The National Association of Auditors, Comptrollers, and Treasurers (NASACT) joined as a Supporting Organization today. This is yet another significant milestone for the project, as we seek to engage professionals in the public sector that interacts with procurement on a daily basis.
Furthermore, many Supporting Organizations and Endorsing Organizations are beginning to set an example, and share the news on their websites.
- Pima County, AZ shared the news that their very own, Melissa Hala’ufia, CPPB, was involved in the project by engaging with the Review Team.
- City of Tucson, AZ Department of Purchasing proudly displays the Principles & Practices Logo on their site.
- York County, VA Department of Purchasing led the way, becoming the first to display the Logo on their site.
- National IPA also joined the movement by placing the project on their homepage.
The point is, regardless of how you decide to share the word, every little bit helps. We encourage all Supporting/ Endorsing Organizations to proudly display the Principles & Practices logo with a link to this website. By doing so, you will be assisting us to keep the public and key stakeholders informed of project updates, and furthermore, drive more public feedback on the proposed Standards of Practice (now open for public comment).
